Pouco tempo depois de lançarmos a versão 5.2 do NeoRAGEx, estamos soltando a 5.2a, uma espéciel de 'revisão', mas que traz novidades importantes.
O grande destaque desta versão é, sem dúvida, o acréscimo de três jogos que ninguém até agora tinha conseguido fazer o NeoRAGEx rodar: Digger Man, Jockey Grand Prix e V-Liner.
Isso mesmo! Conseguimos mais uma proeza para esse amado emulador sem código fonte!

As travas que surgiram em Super Dodge Ball, Gowcaizer, Money Idol Exchanger e OverTop na versão anterior estão corrigidas. Aproveitamos para corrigir parcialmente as travas no Ghostlop, presentes em todas as versões anteriores do NeoRAGEx.
Este lançamento marca o fim de nosso trabalho em cima do NeoRAGEx da EGCG. Então aproveitem!

Alguns membros da EGCG que modificavam o NeoRAGEx antes de nós se pronunciaram negativamente sobre o nosso release, e como
respeitamos o trabalho feito até a versão 4.a, queremos esclarecer algumas coisas...
A idéia de darmos continuidade às modificações do NeoRAGEx surgiu depois de anunciado pelo EGCG que não seria lançado mais nenhum hack do emulador após a versão 4.a.
Então três amigos - Shoometsu, JiMMy_PaGe e fabiofilho - se juntaram e lançaram a versão 4.x, em julho de 2005. Contamos com a ajuda do iq_132, amigo do JiMMy_PaGe, na p1 desencriptada do set PCB de SVCCHAOS, e do nosso amigo neo04 no dat. Vale lembrar que, no readme, não esquecemos de agradecer à EGCG pelo emulador no qual nos baseamos para lançar a nossa versão.
O executável em si não teve nenhuma evolução em relação ao da EGCG, apenas foi adicionado o então recém-lançado kof10th Unique.
Surgiram outros hacks tendo como base o executável da versão 4.x - sem créditos, é claro.
Em março de 2006, após muito planejamento e a adesão de mais pessoas ao projeto, lançamos a versão 5.0. Romhack chegou ao time mostrando sua competência: conseguiu remover as assinaturas da EGCG, corrigiu o bug que fechava o emulador quando se dava Import com algum dump MGD2 na pasta ROMs e restaurou o suporte à Unibios 1.3, que existia no NeoRAGEx oficial, mas que havia sumido nas versões do EGCG. Ferchogtx foi outro que colaborou bastante, com SVC Super Plus, Garou e Metal Slug X. iq_132 mais uma vez nos ajudou fornecendo as Ps de kof10th e Metal Slug 5.
Foi feito um pente fino no dat por fabiofilho e neo04. Muitas ROMs foram atualizadas, e algumas foram lançadas por nós quando o emulador chegou.
Por fim, em março de 2009 lançamos o NeoRAGEx 5.2, com novas funções nunca antes imaginadas no NeoRAGEx. O emulador passou a
rodar todas as versões da unibios; adicionamos um novo menu ao emulador com opções de selecionar ou não o uso da unibios, de usar hacks IPS em Ps/S1/Vs e de gerar dats RC/CM; o emulador passou a ter opções de 9 filtros gráficos, suporte a idiomas e mudança de backgrounds; nessa versão finalmente os MCARDS voltaram a funcionar - o que não acontecia nas últimas versões da EGCG.
O trabalho nos dats foi extremamente minucioso. Todas as ROMs foram atualizadas à perfeição até o limite máximo permitido pelo NeoRAGEx, e testadas uma a uma. O iq_132 foi contatado através da NeoSource a respeito da ferramenta m1crypt, que desencripta m1 roms usando o novo código do Andreas Naive. Fomos gentilmente respondidos e essa ferrramenta nos ajudou a deixar o mais perfeito possível o dat do emulador.
Também conseguimos corrigir alguns bugs remanescentes das versões oficiais e dos hacks da EGCG.
E agora estamos lançando o 5.2a, que faz o que nenhuma versão até agora conseguiu: emula Digger Man, V-Liner e Jockey GP.
Enfim, desde o 4.x até o 5.2a, evoluímos sim o emulador, demos os créditos a todos que de alguma forma contribuíram para a sobrevida do NeoRAGEx (incluindo a EGCG), e fomos perfeccionistas no que fizemos. Fizemos questão de dar sequência à numeração das versões da EGCG.
É nítido aos olhos dos usuários a evolução que houve desde a última versão da EGCG (4.a), até a nossa atual 5.2a. E para nós, isso é o que realmente importa.
A few time after release the version 5.2, we're presenting the 5.2a verion, which is more like a 'fix', but that also brings some important news.
The most noticeable change is, without doubt, the proper emulation of three games that no one has made it work in NeoRAGEx before: Digger Man, Jockey Grand Prix and V-Liner.
That's it! We achieved another great improvement in this great emulator, even without source code available!

The freezing bug that occurs in Super Dodge Ball, Gowcaizer, Money Idol Exchanger and OverTop in the previous version are fixed. Also, we have partially fixed the freezing in Ghostlop, that occurs in all the previous NeoRAGEX versions.
This release also marks the end of NeoRAGEx releases from Snk-NeoFighters Team using EGCG mods. Enjoy it!

Some EGCG members that hacked NeoRAGEx before we started our work has pronounced themselves in a negative way about our 5.2 release, and as we respect their work made until the 4.a version, we want to clarify a few things...
The idea about continuing to hack NeoRAGEx arose after EGCG announced that they won't release anymore NeoRAGEx modifications
after the 4.a version.
Then three friends - Shoometsu, JiMMy_PaGe and fabiofilho - joined forces and released the 4.x version, in july 2005. We counted on help from iq_132, friend of JiMMy_PaGe, for the decrypted P1 data from PCB set of SVCCHAOS, and our friend neo04 for the RomCenter DAT.
It's worth to mention that, in the readme file, we didn't forget to properly thank EGCG for the emulator in which we have based to release our version. The executable file itself didn't have any evolution apart from which EGCG have already done, we just added the just released kof10th unique.
Soon appeared other hacks based on 4.x version - these ones, in fact - without any credits mention.
In march, 2006, after a lot of planning and the entry of new members to the project, we released the 5.0 version. Romhack came showing his skills: removed EGCG signatures, fixed the bug that closed the emulator when trying to import MGD2 dumps and restore the Unibios 1.3 support, that the original NeoRAGEx has, and wasn't available in the EGCG versions. Ferchogtx was another member that helped us a lot, with SVC Super Plus, Garou and Metal Slug X. iq_132 once again helped us, providing properly decrypted P data for kof10th and Metal Slug 5.
A deep check and cleaning in the RomCenter DAT was performed by fabiofilho and neo04. Most ROMs were updated, being some of
them released together with the emulator.
So then, in march 2009, we released NeoRAGEx 5.2, with new functions never thought to be possible in NeoRAGEx. The emulator
now works with ALL Unibios versions; added a new menu to the emulator with options to select Unibios usage, RomCenter/ClrMAme
Pro DAT generation, and IPS usage for P, S1 and V data; the emulator now has support to 9 blitters, background changing and multilanguage support. In this version the MCARDS finally were working again - which wasn't in lastest EGCG releases.
The work made for RomCenter and ClrMame Pro DATs was extremely minucious. All the ROMS were updated to perfection, until the limit allowed by NeoRAGEx, and tested one by one. iq_132 was contacted via NeoSource about the m1crypt tool, which decrypt M1 data using the new code from Andreas Naive. We were kindly answered and this tool helped us to make the most perfect DATs for NeoRAGEx.
And now we're releasing the 5.2a version which does what none of the previous (official/hacks) releases was able to do: properly emulates Digger Man, V-Liner and Jockey GP.
Finally, from 4.x to 5.2a version, we evolved, in fact, the emulator, properly gave the credits to all that, in any ways, contributed for the NeoRAGEx surviving (including EGCG), and were perfectionists in our work. We even gave sequence to the EGCG versions numbering sequence.
It's clear to the user eyes the evolution that happened since the last EGCG version (4.a) until our current 5.2 version. And for us, that's what really matter.

For example: For sheet metal parts ISO 27 68 – mk is used. And for machined components ISO 27 68 – fh can be used. In above example “m” and “k” has defined the tolerance class.
